Electrics specialist mastering engineers have over 20 years experience in the industry, having worked with some of the biggest names in the business, as well as a broad section of independent producers and bands crossing all music genres.
Equally adept at polishing already capacious recordings as they are maximising
and equalising less well cooked production masters, our engineers are thoroughly sympathetic to clients wishes. Whatever your specific requirements or the format of your mixes, Electric offers the expertise and musical sensitivity - not to mention technology - to bring them to full fruition.
Electrics mastering suite is extraordinarily well-equipped. It boasts a rare, early 1970s EMI TG12410 transfer desk that was shipped from EMIs studio in Lagos, Nigeria, where it once helped in the production of records by Fela Kuti and Paul McCartneys Wings.

The only vintage EMI mastering desk currently in use outside of Abbey Road and the only unmodified EMI desk in use in Europe, the TG12410 is not an antique - rather it's a classic, representing mastering technology at its peak. Its an extraordinarily versatile piece of apparatus, able to add distinctive colouration even to high-end digital recordings or, contrastingly, offer faithful reproduction of analogue studio masters.
Electric takes a purist approach to the desk, favouring simple signal lines with no patch bays to interfere with the clean, unadulterated sonic throughput. In addition Electric also owns an equally rare valve compressor originally housed at the famous Deutche Gramphone Studios. The Fairchild 670 is the perfect for tool for adding weight and scale to most master recordings.

Theses speakers offer a neutral, linear playback sound and were balanced and tailored to the room using laser technology by a specialist sonic analyzer.
